Please keep in mind that our policies may change based on the requirements of the pandemic.
1. We will observe strict social distancing protocols.
2. We will not see you without an appointment. Please no walk-ins during this time.
3. Patients will be asked to call our office upon arrival from the parking lot (905-827-1201) Please remain in your vehicle until you are called to come in for your appointment. If you do not have a mobile phone with you, we kindly ask that you do not come in for your appointment early and arrive promptly at the time your appointment is booked. This is to minimize the amount of patient flow in the office.
4. You will be asked to sanitize your hands upon entering and exiting our office.
5. You will be asked to wear a mask or face covering upon entering and exiting our office. If you do not have a mask, a mask will be provided to you upon entering.
6. Your temperature will be taken upon arrival.
7. A Covid-19 pre screening will be taken over the phone prior to your appointment. Upon arrival on the day of your appointment , you will be reassessed for any possible symptoms of Covid-19 or possible exposure to the virus.
8. We have physical barriers in key contact areas.
9. If possible, we request all financial transactions be made with credit card or debit only.
10. In addition to measures we have always implemented, we will increase sanitation of key, high traffic areas.
IN OUR CLINICAL AREA
1. We have isolated all our dental operatories with sealed barriers on all openings of our rooms.
2. High efficiency HEPA air purifiers have been placed in each dental room, to help circulate and clean the air we breathe.
3. You will be asked to rinse with a hydrogen peroxide rinse for 1 min prior to starting dental treatment.
4. We have staggered our appointments and decreased the volume of patients we see each day. (Please be patient as we have limited appointments available.)
5. We have reduced the number of staff during this time and observed social distancing by staggering our break and lunch times.
6. As always, all our instruments and rooms are cleaned and sterilized as per recommended protocols from our governing body (RCDSO), the Ministry of Health and Public Health's Infection Prevention and Control.
7. For your protection and that of our staff, we will be wearing additional PPE, as per Ministry of Health and the RCDSO.
